Sussex Council of Training Providers
SCTP exists to represent training organisations that deliver Government funded vocational learning programmes. It aims to represent its members’ interests and support and inform members in the development of their businesses. There is a diversity in the membership of SCTP which includes:

  • College work based learning departments
  • Local, regional and national independent training providers
  • Apprenticeship & Foundation Learning providers.
  • Welfare to Work providers.
  • Associate members who are not providers but deliver relevant services


Albion in the Community

Apprenticeships In Sussex
Apprenticeships In Sussex is a service run by the Sussex Council of Training Providers on behalf of 50 apprenticeship training organisations. The website enables searching for apprenticeship training organisations by occupation, nearest local town and apprenticeship level and contains a wealth of information about apprenticeships. The events service supports schools, job centres and employers with information about apprenticeships in the form of presentations or exhibiting at careers events.



Crossland and Dudson Training
Crossland and Dudson Training is a Training provider that also offers Employability courses and help with finding our students jobs via “Jobs on the Grapevine”. Our aim is to help provide students with IT training and to address any employability skills they may need help with and help to find employment.


 

Darley Training
Darley Training provides people over the age of 19 years with advice on CV preparation and job and college applications. Also available are training courses in Security, CSCS, Food Safety, Employabillity Skills and other short courses to people who meet the eligibility criteria.

ESCIS stands for East Sussex Community Information Service. It is a computer database of local and community information developed and managed by the Library and Information Services of East Sussex County Council in association with Brighton and Hove Library Service. It is a free resource for everyone. It is free to be listed and free to use.

Working Rite
We help 16-19 year olds who need support into sustained employment, apprenticeships or purposeful learning. We do this through individually matched work placements with local employers.



Youth Employability Service (YES)
The Youth Employability Service (YES) support young people 16-18 into Education, Employment or Training. Our Skills and Employability Advisers work with young people to support them to overcome any barriers they feel they have which are preventing them moving into education, employment or training.



YMCA Training
We offer apprenticeships in Childcare, Health and Social Care and Administration. We also provide training for existing staff to gain their NVQ qualifications in these sectors.
