Want to bring new digital skills into your business to support your administration, website, social media or design?

We are proud to share news about one of our training providers, Creative Process. They are working with the Brighton Chamber, to create 100 new jobs for digital-savvy local talent, training them to achieve industry-recognised diploma accreditation in Digital Media and Digital Marketing/Social Media.

The programme is supported by the National Apprenticeship Service, Brighton & Hove City Council, LoveLocalJobs.com as well as with local employers, and provides:

  • A pool of excellent apprentices to interview and select from
  • £10k worth of Government funded professional development for your apprentice
  • Fresh skills and up-to-date knowledge to enhance your team, at a modest cost
  • £1500 grant after month three
  • A chance to find potential future staff members

Could your company benefit by having a digital apprentice for 1 year?
For the last 3 years, Gene Commerce, a specialist ecommerce agency in Brighton, has been actively involved with the National Apprenticeship scheme, so much so that it is now an integral part of their recruitment strategy.

Matt Parkinson, MD of Gene Commerce said “At first, we were very apprehensive; what will they do? Will they be a drain on internal resource? Nevertheless we dived in. Dave embarked on a year’s apprenticeship, combining a 1-day a week course at the local college to gain a BTEC qualification and 4 days working with us. 3 years on Dave is now one of our senior developers and is a shareholder in the business, what’s more, he is now training and mentoring the new influx of apprentices we have. A fantastic journey considering he’s still only 20.”

“In the last month, our second apprentice, Chloe, has successfully completed her year at college and is now a full-time member of the team. We have been amazed with how much she has developed and learnt over the last 12 months.” Read more here
