Steps to Success: Education and employment with training information for 16-19 year olds

If you are 16-19 years old and living or studying in Croydon, you have access to a range of opportunities including: Further Education (FE) in sixth forms and colleges, Training through vocational training providers, Employment with Training e.g. Apprenticeships or Traineeships through a partnership with Employers and Training Providers/ Colleges, Volunteering which can be combined with part-time learning and also Personal Development Programmes which help you develop your skills e.g.
communication, confidence, work readiness and industry related skills.

If you were born on or after the 1st of September 1997 you must remain in some form of education or training until your 18th birthday and
If you have not achieved at least a grade C in maths and/or English GCSE you will need to study these subjects until you have achieved these grades or until your 18th birthday.
