Contract Commercial Manager (Highways Infrastructure) - A Unique Opportunity in the beautiful county of East Sussex Based: Lewes, East Sussex Salary: Comprehensive salary and benefits package, including relocation if required Come and be part of a unique project that will be breaking the norm as to how highways services are currently being delivered in the UK About the project and employer: The role will be to work for a forward thinking client, eager to deliver a service for their community that offers quality but at an affordable cost.The works will be delivered in partnership with a joint venture that incorporates one of the UK's leading main contractors as well as a globally recognised engineering consultancy.As part of a unique partnership, you will be leading a team that arecommitted to delivering this unique project within the time and financial guidelines set witha strong focus on developing innovative but practical solutions that will be beneficial for all parties involved. The works will be over a 7 year period with a value of £300m responsible for maintaining and improving the highway network that will incorporate roads, pavements, drainage, street lights, traffic lights and structures. About the Role: The role will be for a Commercial Manager to join the team and play an integral part in ensuring the work is delivered successfully.This role will see youworking closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure contract, commercial and risk are appropriately managed and works are delivered to the specified standards and cost. A key element of the role will be to form a professional and collaborative working relationship with the JV.You will also be required to lead and mentor a team who will be able to support you in the day to day running of the commercial functions of the project.
