Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Logistics Administrator Department: Logistics Location: Horsham Reports to: Logistics Team Leader Hours: 14.00-22.15 1. Job Summary The Logistics Administrator position requires the individual to ensure all orders are submitted to the appropriate systems accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ideal candidate must be comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks. The industry sector demands strict quality, product integrity and high levels of accuracy. Working days / hours Variable rotational shift pattern, FCS reserves the right to amend hours to suit the business Job Duties and Responsibilities All tasks relevant to meet the job summary including but not exclusive to: Efficient and accurate input of all assigned orders to relevant systems Completion of export documentation in compliance with international regulations Pre-alerting receiving sites of expected orders Ensuring relevant order related paperwork is filed in accordance with regulatory and study requirements Monitoring acknowledgement of proof of delivery receipts from the courier website and ensuring internal systems are updated accordingly Pro-actively handle internal and external enquiries Working with the Project Management group to ensure the Logistics element of the study set up is correct Day to day interaction with couriers to ensure orders are despatched correctly Principal contacts Internal: Distribution Project Managers, Client Services Business Planning Distribution Order Processing Despatch External: Clients Couriers Education / Qualifications GCSE or equivalent in relevant subjects Experience / Skills Strong administration skills Data entry experience Excellent attention to detail Able to work under pressure, prioritise workload and support others within a team environment Able to analyse problems and define solutions Good written and verbal communication skills Computer literate in Excel, Word etc Flexible and adaptable Competencies Builds customer allegiance Embraces PPI Focus on growth Job knowledge Teamwork/Cooperation Interpersonal skills Dependability Safety Personal development Problem solving/Analytical decision making
