An award winning hotel in Eastbourne looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their team on a full time basis. Your role is to support the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs in the smooth running of this five star kitchen operation, help with the busy banqueting and lounge and room service operations. You will help with menu writing and planning, stock control, rotas, ordering, dealing with suppliers and the training of the junior staff. The Junior Sous Chef position may suit an experienced Chef de Partie with the right skills and attitude or an existing Sous Chef looking to take the next step in a larger operation. Candidates have to have previous experience in a 4/5 star and rosette environment You will be working hours as required, five days over seven, including weekends and bank holidays. Some split shifts are required. Staff accommodation is available to help with relocation. Interview will include a work trial.
