Account Manager - Distribution
This role will be to look after all aspects of the clients' requirements, working within a team to maintain long term relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The role is varied and interesting and can be broadly split into 3 areas: 1. Sales You'll process orders, enquiries and quotes over the telephone and by fax and email ensuring the highest level of accuracy while always looking for opportunities to upsell. 2. Relationships You'll have a list of clients for whom you'll be responsible. 3. Service You'll look after customers when they have a query, be it a late delivery or a returns request, you'll ensure that your client's receive the best service from one point of contact. Escalation support is provided by the customer service team. Career progression is provided by a clear, structured path to promotion, greater responsibility and ultimately management for those who want it. Experience in sales of products in a business to business environment is a big advantage. Duties: -A high level of initiative and ability to work independently -Commercial acumen (understanding profitability and costs) -Exceptional communication: both written and spoken. -Strong organisational and planning skills -Computer literate In addition to initial induction training, product training will be provided together with ongoing training to cover various aspects of business. Commission, the business believe in rewarding their staff and even though this is a customer service role, commission is paid on all orders that you take and for your accounts which order via our website. Your performance is also assessed on KPI's. Only candidates that live within reasonable commuting distance will be considered for this role.
