HR Services Assistant

Palmer & Harvey, the UK's leader in retail distribution, is looking for a HR Services Assistant, in the Group HR Department as part of the Central HR Team at Head Office in Hove. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within the Human Resources profession at Head Office level.
Reporting to the Director of HR, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support to Group Human Resources Department supporting the Group HR Co-Ordinator as required by the Director of HR. The job holder will undertake general office duties to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the department.
This is a varied and busy role which requires excellent organisation skills and the ability to effectively prioritise workload. The jobholder must be a strong team player, working with other team members to ensure an efficient HR service is maintained.
This position requires liaison with all levels of staff, often on a strictly confidential basis, therefore excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills are a 'must'. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administration role and be efficient, effective and highly accurate in all aspects of their work.
