Admin Assistant Job Type: Full-time Job Location: New Addington Salary: £18,000 Per annum Our client is currently looking for a team member to provide administration support within their contract management department This is a challenging role in a busy environment and the successful candidate will have some previous experience in an administrative or similar support role. They will be familiar with MS Office packages, specifically, Outlook, Word and Excel and additionally be able to input data to the Company computerised records and admin systems. As a support role, there will be a requirement to initiate simple internet research for products to purchase for their projects etc. and handle all telephone enquiries. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can liaise with clients and customers alike, creating a professional first impression, and the ability to multi task is essential. Duties & Responsibilities required of the Admin Assistant: Receive all in-coming telephone calls, and route appropriately. Deal with and pass telephone messages. Greet visitors and provide refreshments if required. Open in-coming mail, stamp as appropriate, and distribute as necessary. Prepare out-going mail, log and post. Control and manage courier bookings, assist with labelling etc. Assist with laminating and binding of site documents. Assist in accounting tasks (e.g. inputting invoices, cheque writing and posting, invoice filing. Provide administrative assistance as and when required Provide administrative and typing support for Health & Safety Co-ordinator. Maintain spreadsheets and input information for the Production Manager. Oversee, produce and assist in the filing of 'M' Job Files and 'Q' Files. Ensure Site Labour Sheets are sent out weekly. Manage enquiries for our client's equipment division. Assist in other reasonable tasks specific to our client's business. The role is office based at the Company's HQ in New Addington and candidates must live within an easy commute or be able to access the location by their own transport.
