LETTINGS ADMINSTRATOR The Hive Croydon, Southbridge Road, Croydon, CR0 1AG www.thehive-croydon.org The HIVE Croydon is a small local charity that supports children, young people and their families by providing a wide range of learning activities and projects. The HIVE also manages the St Andrew's Church Community Hub which supports the local community and generates a vital income for The Hive and the Church. Its work is overseen by a small but dedicated team of trustees. The Hub is growing into a busy community centre, enjoyed each week by a range of local groups of all ages and backgrounds. The many activities and services we host include a bi- monthly café, education and leisure classes, health and fitness activities, youth work, activities for the children and their families, and support and advice groups. We cultivate a strong relationship with the users of the Hub. The new post of Lettings Administrator will complement The HIVE's current staffing by managing the administration of Hub lettings, ensuring the Hub remains safe and properly maintained. This includes liaising with regular and occasional users of the Hub, co-ordinating volunteers and maintaining the administrative systems. This is a varied and busy role. The successful candidate needs to be a well-organised person who can deal confidently and diplomatically with a wide range of people, resolving problems in a calm and constructive manner. Salary: £10 per hour Part time, flexible working: 14 hours per week Permanent subject to a six months' probationary period There would be an opportunity to extend the working hours for applicants who can show that they have additional creative skills which would support Children's University activities, offered after school and during the holiday periods.
