The Business The Vintners is a very Large and lively sports orientated pub with a busy food trade . It varies greatly in atmosphere depending on the time of day and what sporting events are on tv. It is a busy food venue on weekdays and weekend lunchtimes and then turning into a club type atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday evening. Customers range from lunch-time shoppers and local workers through to evening-circuit-drinkers all looking for a great atmosphere, excellent entertainment or a fun night out Role & Responsibilities As Kitchen Manager, you will support the General Manager in all aspects of the successful management of the kitchen side of the business. With fantastic people skills and previous management experience, you will be committed to leading, inspiring and developing a fantastic team. You will be passionate about preparing and presenting food to consistent company/brand specification and exceptional standards. You will be customer-focused and will work with the front of house operation to provide excellent service - ultimately ensuring a fantastic guest experience With the ability to adhere to policies and procedures, you will ensure a safe, tidy and hygienic working environment at all times. You will also be responsible for monitoring and dealing with any equipment maintenance issues, maintaining accurate food ordering and stocking levels and completing timely and accurate stock counts. With the ability to work to targets you will manage wastage through correct portion control and records and will also assist in delivering other financial targets set for the business.
