Business Development Specialist / Product Specialist - Ophthalmology - South East England 40:40 Recruitment Ltd are now recruiting for a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation within the field of ophthalmology. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Business Development Specialist across the South East England area, working with pharmaceutical and medical device products. Main Role Responsibilities: - Increasing market awareness of specialist products (both pharma and devices) - Driving new opportunities and sales within your territory - Working with a range of key customers across Primary & Secondary care, CCG's and retail optics - Building and strengthening internal relationships across the UK - Demonstrating an understanding of all segments of the business or an aptitude to learn all these different areas. The selling approach for each product/area will be very different and you will need to adapt to the situation. Essential Role Requirements: - Medical Device and/or pharmaceutical background/experience - Ability to work autonomously as well as with your internal colleagues - Proven track record of sales within pharmaceutical or medical device sales - Able to interpret sales data and trends - Ability to manage multiple products within your portfolio and adapt your selling approach accordingly - Able to influence NHS staff at the highest levels - A current driving licence with no more than 6 points - Proven track record of sales success Ideally you will be: - Able to demonstrate a flexible motivated attitude needed to thrive in a fast growing company - Passionate and driven by challenge - Self-motivated and competitive - IT literate with strong analytical skills In return you will be offered a competitive salary benefits.
