Assembly Associate Job Overview Our prestigious Client Rolls Royce Motor Cars are seeking full time Assembly Associates to work in the head quarters in Westhampnett, Chichester. You will be responsible for building components to motor vehicles and performing inline testing. We are looking for a self-motivated worker who can demonstrate their ability to work to prescribed processes, accurately and in a repeatable fashion. As part of a team of Associates it is vital you can communicate effectively with your colleagues and manager. You will be working to achieve production volume targets and the highest quality standards. Please note, although this vacancy is onsite at R-RMC, you will be employed by its onsite Employment Agency Gi Group. Key Accountabilities Assemble components to vehicles on the assembly line, following defined processes. Perform inline tests and record the results in line-side databases. Participate actively in continuous process improvement activities. Clean and tidy the immediate work area. Follow daily tool maintenance routines. Meet daily volume targets and quality standards. Qualifications and Skills Preferably previous experience working in the automotive industry, although candidates with other manufacturing experience will be considered. Dexterity and hand-to-eye co-ordination. Good inter-personal and communication skills.
