The St Peter & St James Hospice & Continuing Care Centre is situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside near Haywards Heath, providing short and long-term integrated palliative care.

We are looking to recruit additional volunteers to help feed our resident donkeys, Dylan and Dudley over the weekends, namely alternate Saturday mornings (any time between 8am and 10am and/or every Saturday and Sunday evening (any time between 4.30pm and 7.30pm.

The duties include feeding both Dylan and Dudley, mucking out their stable and ensuring the hard standing area is kept clean. Previous experience of working with or looking after equines would be of great advantage.

Volunteers in this role need to love animals, be kind, caring, hard working and above all, reliable
