Secondsite Recruitment is looking for a focused, hardworking and professional candidate to join the team in Croydon, London on a Full-Time Permanent basis as a Senior Recruitment Consultant. You will work within a busy expanding Recruitment company where you will need to be energetic, proactive and organised with the ability to liaise with colleagues and contacts of all levels and backgrounds (both internally and externally). As the Senior Recruitment Consultant you will provide tailored recruitment services whilst continually meeting targets. This role would be a great opportunity for an experienced senior consultant looking for the next step in their career. Job role:Senior Recruitment consultant Location:Croydon, London Hours: Full-Time Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 (depending on experience) Staffing Responsibilities:Recruitment Consultants and Trainees Primary duties; New Business generation - make canvass calls and carry out mail shot activities Meet sales/gross profit targets Deal with speculative calls, aftercare and service calls Client visits - new and service - identify and follow up business leads Negotiate fees and rates in line with Co Policy and comply with approvals and discounts allowed and Issue Terms of Business. Write and place advertisements on job boards and Job Centre. Serve Clients, identify their needs and provide feedback on success of filling jobs Qualify job Specification / Salary information and record accurate and comprehensive job description - check info / client requirements in line with key processes and legislation. Network internally and externally with Clients Benchmark for Clients - salary, availability, candidate pool, industry activity Candidate control - keep in regular contact to review progress and performance Pre-screen candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews Coach candidates on interview skills / skill testing Manage temp availability to meet client needs Spec CV's / Market candidates, Search / Shortlist CVs in line with job order requests. Ensure CVs are of a specific standard and reflective of client requests Provide Information to candidates on clients and job specifications for permanent jobs Mentor and support team on general basis as well as direct reports Positively motivate, direct and develop Resourcer/Admin Staff Take ownership, contribute and influence team targets Manage own Career Progression Plan General Administrative duties Update and maintain client and candidate information on internal system Candidate specification; Previous experience within Recruitment Be positive role model for all aspects of the job Confident and friendly personality Ability to work within a team Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong organisation and time management skills Meticulous attention to detail Confidence to deal with customers & clients Competency with Microsoft Software Packages If you are interested and believe you have suitable skills and experience to be considered for this position then please apply.
