PRODUCTION MANAGER - Point of Sale / Out of Home CROYDON AREA Salary up to £40k - EXPERIENCE IS A MUST This role will have 2 supervisors reporting into them, each supervisor is based on in the warehouse as a hands on supervisor. Each supervisor has approx. 10 members of staff reporting into them but the Print Finishing Production Manager will have the overall responsibility of the department and be the escalation contact for the supervisors with any issues production or staff wise that they encounter. The Print Finishing Production Manager will get heavily involved but will be more office based working with the Print Production Manager on scheduling and liaising with the Account Managers regarding timings for new jobs/ work load etc as opposed to getting stuck in on the shop floor. The finishing that this role will be responsible for will be - Print Finishing team as a whole (including 2 supervisors) Kongsberg machine & operator Glueing machines & operators FSDU assembly POS collation & packing Banners - welding/hemming Finishing for Backlit Skins Paper 48 sheets / 96 sheets - collation and despatch Overall despatch - oworking closely with couriers regarding deliveries oEnsuring work is despatched from departments to a high standard oLiaising with despatch managers regarding vehicles Quality checks for the department Scheduling all finishing requirements onto the system Working closely with the Print Production Manager oto ensure work flows through the print departments and arrives to finishing with enough time to finish the job to clients spec and by deadlines Report into MD's any issues with the department Report all non-conformance issues to correct channel People management of the department H & S responsibility of the department Liaising with supervisors re stock levels for department - ensuring there are purchase orders for all orders Overall responsibility and accountability for the departments output / production levels The successful person will need to have an extensive knowledge of print - OOH and POS. Knowledge of accurate timings for different finishing requirements - imperative. They will need to be able to work in a very demanding working environment and put the hours in to match. Must be person with a problem solver/'can do' type attitude. Must have a professional attitude and be able to liaise with staff at all levels as this will involve communication with all our departments.
