Team Lead for Test Automation is required at international organisation based near Gatwick. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to support and shape the development of revolutionary new products to the market. You will be responsible for developing and leading a dedicated automation team of 4 in order to meet the needs of the department and business strategy. Key Responsibilities: To set long term plans and strategies to ensure the tools, skills and processes used in system Test automation develop to meet the needs of the project teams consistent with the department strategy. To set long term plans and strategies to ensure the tools, skills and processes used in test management across the full product development lifecycle develop to meet the needs of the business. To support all aspects and levels of HP ALM and to troubleshoot both user and application issues To plan, agree and achieve budget targets for the functional departments, including travel and tools maintenance Manage budgets for upgrades and maintenance of the tools used The provision of human resources to the Systems Test Automation and Test Management Tools support teams, and the management of recruitment, recognition and discipline. To conduct annual reviews of personnel. Key Requirements: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is desirable Strong experience in SQL, Scripting, and working through APIs -Ideally HPALM OTA. Experience in Software and system test automation. Knowledge of Test Management tools, ideally HP ALM System administrator, server management and dba skills are highly desirable Good use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio) Experience of business requirements gathering and analysis Good understanding of the software development and test lifecycle and experience of the tools used to support them Personal skills of leadership, organisation and communication.
