My client is a top UK employer based in Burgess Hill. They have won awards for their staff retention and friendly environment. This is a global company with an exceptional reputation within their market.

They are recruiting for an Events Coordinator for an ongoing contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join an outstanding company in a varied and exciting role.

You will be reporting directly to the Event Team Leader and be responsible for the end to end coordination of a variety of events such as internal sales conferences, customer meetings and visits etc. The right candidate will have strong time management and organisational skills and also be confident working in a fast paced environment, ensuring the key business needs are met for each project. On occasions, you may be required to travel to conduct site visits and attend some events to ensure they run smoothly.

Key duties:

  • Organising all events including internal conferences and customer meetings
  • Liaising with all parties and suppliers and managing their expectations
  • Collating and providing post event feedback
  • Finalising budgets and invoices
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Reconciling expenses
  • Organising customer transport

The right candidate will also possess a good working knowledge of MS Office and ideally C-VENT. You will also ideally have an in-depth knowledge of events and travel terminology. The right candidate must also be professionally presented at all times and understand the importance of representing the company brand at all times.

This is a full-time contract role (Monday - Friday, 09.00-17.30)

Although training will be provided, this role requires an experienced individual who will be able to hit the ground running and make the role their own.
