Authorisations & Approvals Administrator £18,000 Horsham To assist the Authorisations & Approvals Manager and her team in processing all applications from Appointed Representative firms, their Approved Persons and Introducers in accordance with the Company's procedures in an efficient and timely manner. Main Duties To follow and adhere to the working Authorisations & Approvals Procedures as laid down by the Authorisations & Approvals Manager.To process applications through to appointment of all Registered Individuals and Introducers within the Company.To complete the Authorisations & Approvals procedures including referencing, credit checking and liaising with Compliance Admin to ensure that each individual is booked onto an Induction Course.Review any adverse information identified from these investigations and bring these to the attention of the Authorisations & Approvals Manager, e.g. references, credit checks, financial solvency etc.To present the Training and Competence information to the Compliance Manager in a comprehensive manner for T&C sign off and liase with him if further information is required.When ready for approval to present the file to the Authorisations & Approvals Manager for sign off.When the file has been signed off, to submit the appropriate forms to the FCA for registration.Proficiently diarise final references under the 25 day rule in accordance with the company Authorisations & Approvals Procedures.During the process to liase, if required, with Compliance, T&C and Recruitment DepartmentsUpon Appointment, advise the relevant departments and provide information of KPI's to T&C and any monitoring requirements to Compliance.To issue appointment letters.Maintain all IT records in relation to application and membership databases.To send out application forms as required, recording the information for follow up.To assist the Authorisations & Approvals Manager in collating of Management Information. To process Member Firm and Individual Member resignations in accordance with theAuthorisations & Approvals procedures.To undertake any other duties as required by the Authorisations & Approvals Manager, which are necessary to fulfil the role.To build and maintain good communications with your colleagues and Member firms. Qualifications Required: English Language GCSE essential Experience Required: Previous experience within a business administration role is essential Knowledge Required: Good knowledge of the Authorisations & Approvals Procedures (training provided) Practical Skills Good communication skillsExcellent IT skills to include experience of Word, Excel and OutlookGood telephone mannerAttention to detail Person Specific A mature, confident individual possessing a sound systematic and methodical approach to work is essential. Possessing the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in all media types.
