We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic General Catering Manager to manage our high profile restaurant within a BI site, in Brighton. You will be full responsible for the front of house and making sure you getting the best out of each team member to offer excellent service and quality of food . Other responsibilities include placing orders, aiding in stock control, implementing promotions and sometimes liaising with our FM. You will be required to lead by example and set high standards for our team. Package description Mon - Fri, between 6.30am - 4pm, will need to be flexible Easy access by public transport Opportunity to join the Compass share and pension scheme Plenty of opportunity to progress over the years Up t0 10% discount in various high street stores including travel Main responsibilities Proven experience in a similar position? Excellent people skills, able to motivate, lead and develop a team. Passion about food and excellent customer service. Knowledge about products, promotions and sales. High standards and be quality driven. Interpersonal and organisational skills. Sound awareness of health & safety and food safety legislation. Be able to address and resolve customer complaints. An eye for detail. A 'Can do' attitude.
