My client is looking to recruit a Property Claims Handler to join their team in Chichester. You will be responsible for delivering a professional advice service to clients regarding any claims, liaising with insurers and other parties to expedite the claims process and effectively manage clients' expectations. You will manage claims from cradle to grave.- Handling a caseload of property claims from first notification through to settlement - Organising and prioritising a case load - Assisting in maintaining accurate management information by completing spreadsheets as necessary. - Reducing lapsed timescales by providing a pro-active approach to file management. - Preparing and issuing reports to clients in accordance with agreed licensing levels. - Build good working relationships with clients, assistant adjusters and support teams internally and externallyPreferably, the ideal candidate will have the following attributes/skillsCert CII/ Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification desirableEducated to GCSE standard or equivalent preferredPrevious claims handling experience.Good customer service focusIdentify potential risk/issues and seek advice/consultation when requiredDue diligence and process driven to deadlinesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAccuracy and attention to detailProactive approachComputer literateReed Specialist Recruitment Limited is an employment agency and employment business
