Business Analyst - Public Sector We are seeking a Business Analyst - Public Sector with strong experience of the below requirements. The initial contract runs until March 2017 and you will be working for a Public Sector organisation based in Croydon Daily Rate: Up to £340 per day The successful candidate must either hold BPSS DS clearance or be willing to undergo security vetting in order to obtain the level required. Duties - Work with business change owners to gather, develop and document process maps and requirements. - Producing "as is" and "to be" business process maps. - Work with business change owners and suppliers (where required) to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and necessary information is available. - Issue resolution between internal and external stakeholders. Key Tasks - Deliver requirements identification workshops to clearly understand the business need. - Articulate the technical requirement ensuring that it complies with CAST standards - Provide support and guidance on procurement strategy, including translating business requirements into measurable assessment criteria. - Support the development of ITT documentation including: questions and marking guidance. - Ensure requirements deliver an innovative but robust solution which best meets the business need. Essential Experience - Relevant experience of identifying and articulating technical requirements, ideally having a knowledge of electronic monitoring technology - Relevant experience of setting out questions and marking guidance for ITT - Experience of drafting statement of requirements as part of the development of business cases and justification for major procurements. - Able to communicate high level requirements to stakeholders/clients/suppliers. - Experience of articulating technical requirements in large scale projects - Deliver requirements identification workshops to clearly understand the business need. - Articulate the technical requirement ensuring that it complies with CAST standards - Provide support and guidance on procurement strategy, including translating business requirements into measurable assessment criteria. - Support the development of ITT documentation including: questions and marking guidance. - Ensure requirements deliver an innovative but robust solution which best meets the business need. - Relevant experience of identifying and articulating technical requirements, ideally having a knowledge of electronic monitoring technology - Relevant experience of setting out questions and marking guidance for ITT - Experience of drafting statement of requirements as part of the development of business cases and justification for major procurements. - Able to communicate high level requirements to stakeholders/clients/suppliers.
