We are currently recruiting a Compliance Manager for a stand alone role within a niche Insurance specialist. As the Compliance Officer you will be a significant member of the firm, reporting directly to and have significant involvement with the Directors. Your main responsibility shall be to provide direction, supervision and support to all staff and senior management on all Compliance issues. Other duties shall include: - Provide management with the implementation and development of policies, practices and procedures to comply with regulations and enhance internal systems - Regularly review processes and procedures in association with relevant senior management, confirming accordance with current FCA requirements and suggesting alternatives where appropriate - To maintain a database or record of press articles, letters and briefings regarding compliance, promote management awareness and co-ordinate responses to proposed regulatory changes - To assist the Director and Accounts staff in the preparation of the RMAR (Retail Mediation Activities Return) As this is a stand alone position candidates should be a proactive compliance professional who have previously held a Senior Compliance role within the Insurance industry, having experience and knowledge on the technical aspects of the FCA regulation.
