Job Title: Pensions Technician (Projects Administrator) Location: Chichester (Tower Street) Competitive Salary & Benefits Excellent Opportunity for an experienced Technician (Projects Administrator) to join our Pensions Administration team. About the role: We have an excellent opportunity for a Pensions Technician to join our Administration team working across both DB and DC pensions. The Pensions Technician will provide support and bring technical experience to the administration team to ensure key projects and scheme events are completed in line with procedural and client requirements and within service level agreements and to provide a continually improving level of customer service in terms of quality, cost and time. The successful candidate will be required to work in line with service level agreements and in accordance with legislation, policy conditions, business rules and procedures and within the regulatory framework. What you will do: - To work with the Senior Technician and Team Leader to deliver requirements for Scheme Events and Projects (time scales, deliverables, quality, sign off) and to input into the planning process; - To be responsible for the accuracy and quality of Scheme Events and Projects; - To input on projects that use other areas of CEB, for example Data and Orbit; - To build, maintain and enhance the team's competence in order to improve delivery of the customer experience and to ensure we treat customers fairly; - Identify and report risks and breaches immediately to line management and/or the Operational Risk & Compliance Department; - Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery, improve processes and reduce potential complaints and business risks; - Adhere to Quality Management Systems and comply with pensions and FCA regulations and initiatives, for example, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF); - To support and assist the management team where required in all aspects of service delivery and business support for example, ad hoc projects, auditing, etc; - To challenge the activities inside and outside the team in order to improve the customer experience; - Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery, improve processes and reduce potential complaints and business risks; - To provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties in line with service level agreements. Your experience will include: - GCSE educated including Math and English at grade A - C or equivalent; - Ideally knowledge of DB and / or DC pension schemes; - Ideally an understanding of Pension administration and work management systems; - Can demonstrate adherence to compliance guidelines and comply with all relevant regulatory policies, including completion of mandatory training; - Good experience of MS Office suite including good letters and e-mail communications and adherence to quality management; - Highly analytical and can identify gaps and errors in data; - Highly desirable skills / experience include PMI qualification (Certificate in Pensions Essentials or Certificate in Pension Calculations) OR willingness to study towards qualifications.
