Sales Assistant – Uckfield

We have a vacancy for a Sales Assistant at our branch in Uckfield, East Sussex.

What you will be responsible for:

Providing a point of contact for customers on the sales counter, dealing with enquiries over the phone and face to face, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service in order to maximise sales potential.

Working a 45 hour basic week, standard working hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am – 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch, Saturdays 8am – 12.30pm and Sundays 10am – 1pm on a rota basis (paid at overtime rate).

Who we are looking for:

The ideal Sales Assistant will have a good rapport with customers, be target driven, have good communication skills, be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated and must be able to work well within a team.

The successful applicant would ideally have experience with building materials but training will be given.
