These are new and exciting times for Sussex Community Trust as we take on the running of adult community services across High Weald, Lewes and Havens. This post offers an excellent opportunity to develop your professional and clinical skills within an organisation that has been nationally recognised by the Health Service Journal top 100 best places to work in the NHS list. We have also been recognised by the CQC for the good work we do that makes a difference to our patients. Our results for the recent National NHS staff survey show that we are better than average for the NHS in almost all of the survey's key findings (25 out of 29).

We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced and highly skilled radiographer in the Community Radiology Service. Applicants must have wide ranging skills in general radiographic imaging and require experience of working single-handed. The post is part-time to provide 9-5 weekday imaging services in the Community for General Practitioners, Outpatient and Inpatient referrers and for patients referred from the Minor Injury Unit. This post is primarily based at Victoria Hospital Lewes working within our small radiography team. Flexibility of working at our other Community sites at Crowborough, Uckfield and the X-ray Unit at Chailey Clinical Services is required.

Installation of high specification DR units is imminent at all 3 Community sites replacing the current CR systems. A busy Bone Densitometry (DEXA) scanning service is also provided at Lewes.
