Account Manager - Retail B2C - Consumer Electronics Location: UK & Ireland Salary: In region of £48,000 package (Base £35k / £8k Bonus / £5k car allow) Key Account Manager wanted for Fantastic Technology Brand Experience sort: A National Retail Account Manager with knowledge of Consumer Electronics / High Technology / CE Retailers / Distribution Channels I am recruiting for a global technology company with an enviable product range of well established, leading brands within high technology consumer electronics. They are looking to recruit an ambitious Account Manager with national level retail and channel sales experience ideally within electronics / high technology products. Based within their Sussex head office near Gatwick you will travel daily to key retailer accounts throughout the UK & Ireland to build relationships with retail operational managers so this job is ideal for someone who lives within a commutable drive to Gatwick. You will be responsible for developing and delivering sales and below-the-line marketing to achieve the goals for business growth for their Consumer Electronics products, working with CE retailers and distributors etc. You will also contribute to, and manage your own responsibilities for tactical and strategic business plans for current and future products whilst working collaboratively with the Central Marketing team. If you have 3 years of experience of working with retailers as an account manager, possess a car and a full driving license and live within a commutable distance to Gatwick then APPLY TODAY Your duties will involve the following: Sales Performance: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (gross contribution by product). Manage margins and the product mix and understand their impact on country financial performance. Develop and agree quarterly sales plans and key actions. Deploy monthly/quarterly product demand generators. Develop and implement sales strategies and activities which increase market share, brand awareness and profile. Customer Management & Development Handle direct accounts to; manage all aspects of account management including financial risks, product management, product and sales training and channel development. Acquire and maintain key financial/commercial information on current and future customers. Maintain customer records including keynotes of client meetings/visits. Establish and develop strong commercial relationships with operational leaders in key accounts Maintain high level of customer service for distribution channels, retail outlets and the end customer. Reporting Forecast sales by customer, product and channel quarterly in advance with monthly updates. Submit weekly stock and sales out figures by customer, product and channel. Understand competitor products and promotions and market trends and provide regular reporting and a monthly analysis to Country Director and PMs. Business Management Understand the company vision, value proposition and growth targets as context for planning and development. Continuously monitor the market for developments, competitive threats and opportunities. Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities Required: 3 years of experience of national level retail and channel sales of consumer electronics/high technology products; Worked at or been working with distribution channels previously. Demonstrated track record of exceeding/achieving sales targets. Proven track record of growing existing accounts; Knowledge & strong contacts within the designated retail accounts. Business or relevant technical degree; Computer literate - including MS Office suite. Driving for sales results. New Business Development. Consumer Market Awareness. Commercial Relationships.
