CREATIVE SALES PERSON WITH MARKETING PROWESS?? READY FOR THE PERFECT JOB ?? 

An exciting position has become available to work in a beachfront art gallery in the artist quarter in Brighton. 

We are looking for someone to work in our charming seafront arch gallery. Working on a roster, including weekends, you will be in sole charge of ensuring the smooth-running of the gallery on the days you work. 

The perfect candidate will bring additional skills to the business too, so on quite days there are alternative ways of adding value. This could include social media, web marketing, and/or potentially other skills you may think you can bring to the business. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE: 
- Reliable and responsible person able to manage time 
- Superior sales person, approachable and friendly 
- Experienced sales person, preferably with art or similar product 
- Creative individual who can work with the artist to come up with new exciting and sellable ideas 
- Great communicator 
- Excellent customer service skills 
- Marketing and /or Social Media knowledge 

DUTIES 
Opening up, setting out the space for the day. 
Handling sales, cashing-up and closing each day. 
Providing assistance and knowledge of product to clients. 
Ensuring the gallery is spotless and organised at all times 
Reviewing sales to ensure we are constantly evolving and bringing new ideas to market 
Administration of sales and reporting 
Marketing campaigns Social media campaigns. 
Assisting with events at the gallery 
Some travel to London for training may be required. 

Whilst the day-to-day work is spending your days on the beautiful Brighton seafront helping customers, we want this person to utilise their time doing additional projects to make this a real art destination in Brighton.

HOURS & RENUMERATION: 
This will be on a roster basis, which offers a level of flexibility to you too. However it is imperative that you are reliable, and will be able to work on the days you are rostered on. 

The hourly rate will be dependent on the successful candidate. 
Hours will vary slightly depending on the season.
