Care Manager – Brighton

Are you looking for a new direction?  Do you have experience in Care Management and looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have any experience of working with children and young adults with learning disabilities?

If so, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are positive about learning disabilities to join our team.

St John’s is a specialist school and college offering high quality education and care for young people aged 7-25 with a wide range of special educational needs. 

We are currently recruiting a Care Manager to manage a residential house in Brighton. 

The Care Manager shall be responsible for the following:

*   To act as the ‘Registered Manager’ within the meaning of Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

*   To act as direct line manager for the Team Leaders.  As a member of the care management team, to take responsibility for the development of the adult residential provision. 

*   To be an effective member of the care management team in developing operational policy, service procedures and good practice.  

Hours                         40 hours per week as per rota  

                                   52 weeks including weekends and bank holidays

                                   40 days annual leave per annum including bank holidays

Base                           St. John’s School & College (Dual Sited)

Qualification             Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and                                    Young People's Services or equivalent

Base                          St. John’s School & College Residential Properties
