As Head of Product, the successful candidate will lead the product strategy across Car, Home, Bike and Van providing oversight and governance to ensure our products continue to meet regulatory obligations whilst delivering value for our customers.

The Role

Reporting directly into our Home and Product Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision product disclosures within product journeys and documentation. Working collaboratively with our senior operational leadership teams with analysis and recommendations, to optimise and define our product strategies, including innovative proposition.

Your remit will include the following:

• Lead the product strategy for core products – car, home, van & bike
• Accountable for Product Design and Product Review process including product Implementation and changes.
• Responsible for the provision product disclosures within product journeys and documentation
• Responsible for the accuracy of product documentation provided to customers including IPID’s, Policy documents, SECCI.
• Lead the ancillary product strategy and provide ongoing commercial and customer oversight to these products
• Responsible for the selection, oversight and performance of ancillary products including value for money assessments
• Responsible for managing external relationships with ancillary providers.
• Lead the premium finance function ensuring full compliance
• Ensuring that all elements of product design, communication and processes including digital journeys in relation to Premium Finance comply with CONC and other relevant regulatory requirements
• Compliance with CONC's Provisions on the collection of overdue amounts from consumer credit customers

Required Experience:

• Experience of working within a highly regulated environment
• Understanding of the insurance/financial services industry, its products and key regulations
• Strong stakeholder management experience, within a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Proven team leadership, experienced in building, motivating and inspiring high performance teams
• Ability to flex leadership style in order to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
