This role would suit a hands on Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of commercial in a development team with experience delivering high quality software applications using Java / J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL and Apache web server. This Senior Java Developer role will join a team of engineers working on products that deliver intelligence and data to clients from massive data sets. Candidates should have a good understanding of design and Java development experience with at least some of the following technologies – Spring Boot, Restful Web Services, SQL and JavaScript. They are constantly looking to use up to date technologies and you will gain the opportunity to work with Docker, Jenkins and JavaScript libraries such as Angular and Node.JS The Java development team works in small agile scrum teams, so experience as a Scrum Master would be of specific interest. Excellent communication skills are required for this Senior Java Developer role and ideally candidates will have a good degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar.
