Are you looking for a part time role with a technical administration background or are you an engineer that is looking for a role that will take you off the road and be office based but still be able to utilse your skills then this couldbe the opportunity that you arre looking for.
The role is for a minimum of 20 hours per week and the salary will be pro rata.
The role of the service/installation department is to service, commission, undertake warranty works to provide after sales support for all industrial systems and organise installation.
The position is to respond to customer technical enquiries and process orders through to quotation and the end of the procedure.
To respond to engineer callout requests for faults and breakdowns of humidifiers and Air Curtains and provide follow up quotes for parts and labour
To quote remedial works – recommended by engineers from their site visits
To define the costs for technical planned maintenance quote requests
To define the costs for non-standard planned maintenance contracts and inclusive parts requests Determine first visits parts for brand new contracts
To follow up technical reports from engineers and key accounts
To respond to technical invoice queries and process as appropriate
To coordinate project jobs i.e. large works
To support engineers daily technical queries
To provide site specific method statements and scope of works
This role would suit a technically minded indivdual with a strong admin and customer services background with experience in a practical environment eg HVAC
Well educated with 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and ideally A levels in technical subjects
Good communication skills – active listening, questioning, rapport building, good telephone manner
Good computer literacy in Word, Excel, Internet and Outlook Microsoft Office 2007
Competent keyboard skills e.g. data entry (Alphanumeric) skills minimum 120 key strokes per minute
Excellent administrative skills and ability to organise
Ability to deal promptly, pleasantly and patiently with all enquiries and requests on the phone and face to face
Excellent time management skills – planning prioritising, staying focused
To be flexible, reactive and adaptable to changing circumstances and be able to think on your feet
There is plenty of parking on site and excellent benefits and the minimum hours to be worked is 20 per week
