Mastercool (Southern) Ltd. are based in Manor Royal, Crawley and are specialists in providing mechanical services, A/C, refrigeration, ventilation and service and maintenance to the south-east region. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrator to help provide support to our vibrant and friendly team, the role would suit a recent college leaver or graduate looking for office experience with a flair for social media and commercial aspects of business.
Job Role
The role will involve:
• Providing general administrative and reception support.
• Assisting in the smooth running of our extremely busy office.
• Providing administrative support to Commercial Department and Accounts Department where required.
Duties will include:
• Answering the telephone;
• Assisting with acting as front of house interface;
• General typing duties;
• Procurement of materials – raising/issuing of purchase orders;
• Assisting with vehicle management;
• Completing documentation to obtain security passes for airport workers.
• Website management;
• Social media management;
• Sales and marketing promotion;
• Profit/Loss data entry and analysis;
• Reconciling invoices against PO database.
• Updating our project database and generally assisting in the support of all clerical/admin services for the company.

We are looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, helping where required in different areas of the business, creating an extremely varied and interesting role.
You need to be confident, professional and personable. The right person will be extremely well organised, self-motivated and forward thinking, with a keen eye for detail. An ability to multi task is essential as is a good sense of humour! You should enjoy interacting with members of the public both on a face-to-face basis and on the telephone. You must be approachable and be able to work as part of a team.
Skills / Experience
➢ Computer literate in use of Microsoft Office, email and internet. A good knowledge on the use of excel would be particularly beneficial.
➢ Excellent oral communication – ability to speak clearly and persuasively, able to listen and obtain clarification where necessary;
➢ Written communication - clear and informative, edits work for spelling and grammar, varies writing style to meet needs, presents numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret written information;
➢ Planning and organisation - prioritises and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, plans for additional resources, develops realistic action plans, completes work within deadlines;
➢ Knowledge in use of social media;
➢ An understanding of profit/loss analysis would be desirable, but not essential.
➢ Ability to adapt to change – no one day is the same in our office!
➢ Take initiative and look to improve processes where necessary.
➢ Full UK driving licence essential.

• Employment to be on a full-time basis.
• 28 Days annual leave (less days allocated for xmas shutdown period and bank holidays).
