• Band 2 - £15,404 - £18,157 + up to 25% USH

Our Trust

At South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, we respond to emergency calls, provide non-emergency patient transport services and deliver the NHS111 clinical advice service for the region. We cover 3,600 square miles, including busy towns, sleepy villages and some of the UK’s busiest stretches of motorway. Our 3,661 staff work across 110 sites throughout Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

IBIS

IBIS currently holds over 45,000 care plans which SECAmb clinicians can use to be informed about patients with long term health problems in order to prevent avoidable hospital admissions or to provide specific treatment or other patient wishes. It also provides a system for making falls referrals and hypoglycaemia notifications. The system has been developed over the last 5 years, and is about to be launched in an iPad format which represents an exciting new era for the system and how we can ensure patients’ needs and wishes are upheld.

Your role

You will be responsible for the operation of the IBIS system, including data collection from ambulance clinicians to support business development for alternative pathways and admission avoidance. You will play a key part in the team, providing effective and timely communication with Health Care Professionals over the phone and computer system.
