Technical Coordinator - KC Controls

KC Controls are looking for an ambitious individual to join our ever growing team as a Technical Coordinator.

We are seeking someone with:

• A solid technical background, Mechanical/Electrical HNC/HND or better.
• Worked with either Gas or Water Analytical products or both.
• Strong communication and Organisational skills;
• Sound judgement and good business sense;
• The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Experience in a commercial sales environment to show that you have the necessary skills to accompany the technical knowledge.

Key responsibilities of Technical Sales Coordinator include:

• This is a demanding customer facing, office based role providing day to day customer support and managing customers’ expectations.
• You will be dealing with customers over the phone, by email and supporting the field sales team with quotations.
• Advising new and existing customers on the product range by taking a detailed brief from the customer to establish which product is best for them.
• Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
• Cross and up-selling products to existing customers
• Following up on customer inquiries to ensure they are correct and meet the customers’ expectations.
• Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
• Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs;
• Calculating client quotations;
• Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required;
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
• Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
