Project Worker 1, Surrey Locality - Barnardo's

Barnardo's are working in partnership with Surrey and Borders NHS partnership Trust to deliver Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in Surrey. Barnardo's are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and committed project workers to deliver parenting support groups to families whose children have received, or are waiting for, a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 

The post holder should have some understanding of the possible impact of ADHD on family life. Experience of delivering services to families and having knowledge of group work, recording and evaluation principles would be an advantage, however full training and support will be given. 

We are looking for project workers able to work in a team, who have 
good communication skills and a commitment to deliver high quality services which make a real difference to families in Surrey. An ability to work some evenings and occasional Saturdays is required and as the service will be delivered across Surrey in local communities and so an ability to travel is essential.
