Marketing Officer - Manor Royal BID

(Part time, 20 hours per week) (full-time equivalent based on 37.5 hours)

Permanent position to 31 March 2023 (with the possibility of extension)

Manor Royal Business District is a key economic hub within the South East region and provides the employment foundation of both Crawley and the wider Gatwick Diamond area. It is home to more than 600 businesses providing jobs for 30,000 people. 

The Manor Royal BID Company (MRBD Limited) is an independent not-for-profit company set up and run by Manor Royal-based businesses. Its main purpose is to manage and deliver the Manor Royal Business Improvement District (BID) using contributions from Manor Royal companies to reinvest in the area and generate additional funds to achieve its vision and objectives.

MRBD Limited is looking to appoint a capable, organised and confident person to assist the Executive Director to lead on marketing, promotion, communications and events on behalf of the BID. 

Core responsibilities will involve planning and managing marketing, promotion and communications activities and event organisation. 

Subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period, this is a permanent part-time position for the duration of the current BID term (until at least 31 March 2023) with possibility of the extension.
