Has LoveCroydonJobs helped you to find a new job? The new website has proved a major hit with jobseekers and employers alike by producing outstanding candidates for Croydon vacancies.

Many people have found out about the unique jobs board, which aims to get local people into local jobs, through flyers handed out by Rob Salter at prominent locations in the town.

And as proof that the website is capturing the imagination, someone returned to him to say: “I had to come back and see you to say thank you. You gave me a lovecroydonjobs.com leaflet and I went home and went on the website and applied for a job.

“I am now on my way to an interview.”

If that was you the LoveCroydonJobs team would love to hear how the interview went – or from anyone else who has used our service to get a job since it went live in September 2015. Get in touch by calling 01273 651100 or email info@lovelocaljobs.com

The service has already gained a big following with more than 4,000 page views, 3,000 of them unique, and with low bounce rate figures proving that jobseekers are engaged with the local content and vacancies being advertised.

As part of the LoveLocalJobs.com family, the site not only lists hundreds of jobs from the Croydon area, but also provides careers advice and guidance across the private and public sector, including volunteering, education and training opportunities.

Founding partners American Express, Croydon Business Venture, Harris Global, Heart FM, Liverpool Victoria and White Label Creative are among those now successfully using the site to advertise their vacancies, while strategic partners include Croydon Commitment and South Croydon Business Association.

LoveCroydonJobs is an innovative service and is also planning to start its Be the Change programme later in the year, which is designed to bring together school students with corporate mentors from local companies to raise aspirations, boost confidence and improve employers’ talent pipeline.
