Responsive Services - Recruitment Open Day

Calling all registered Therapists looking to join a forward facing team!

Thursday 17th September 2020. 10:00 - 19:00. ONLINE EVENT.

About the event

You could be an essential part of our fast paced Responsive Services!

We’re throwing open our doors (virtually) for you to find out more about us, our people and the supportive environment that we’ve created for those individuals who have the right skills to support our patients in the critical first few weeks after they leave hospital and in our work to avoid admissions.

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is the largest provider of NHS Community care across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, High Weald Lewes and Havens and West Sussex. Our expert teams provide essential medical, nursing and therapeutic care to more than 9,000 adults, children and families every single day. Across Sussex we proudly service a population of more than 1.3 million people.

Our exciting webinar will focus on our Responsive Services in West Sussex and will be staffed by therapists and nurses just like you who will be available to answer all of your questions about what it is really like to work with us and our patients. We have a variety of roles available for registered staff across West Sussex including Horsham, Crawley, Haywards Heath, Worthing and Chichester and this is your opportunity to ask both practical questions and those that you really want the answers to but might not choose to ask in an interview!

By joining Responsive Services, you will become part of one of our large multidisciplinary teams who are working together to use and develop a wide range of skills and knowledge to support our patients holistically. These patients are often acutely ill and your developed skills will be put to good use to support their early discharge from hospital or to enable them to remain in their homes without the need for acute or emergency admission.

As one of our team of senior clinicians, you will play an essential part in the direction and delivery of patient care as well as supporting us to develop our trainee and clinical support staff. For you to do that, we offer you the support you need to hone your existing skills as well and develop new ones in order to fulfill your potential and enjoy your role with us.

Why SCFT?

As an NHS Trust, we're committed to making sure our staff receive the same care and support that we provide to all our patients. We're able to offer a generous annual leave allowance, health and wellbeing packages and continuous training and development.

We’re rated Good by the Care Quality Commission and we’re on a journey to achieve a rating of Outstanding.
