It’s been a busy start to 2024 and we’ve seen lots of interesting trends across LoveLocalJobs.com in the first few weeks as both job seekers and employers look to start their year off on the right foot.

Users between the age of 18-34 made up the greatest percentage of job seekers coming to the site, with 51% falling into this demographic.

Over 750 job vacancies currently live

On average, 784 vacancies have been added over the past two months, with more and more employers turning to the job board for a cost-effective advertising solution in the wake of rising costs on other platforms and the demand to access and recruit great people.

The average application rate close to 11%

An average application rate of 10.79% over the period indicates that for employers looking to hire, creating engaging job adverts is encouraging a high number of applications from local talent.

60,000+ mailshots delivered in January

Since the start of 2024, we’ve sent out more than 61,000 mailshots to our combined candidate and employer networks across Sussex.

This network continues to grow and currently tops 15,000 people who regularly receive communications from LoveLocalJobs.com directly into their inboxes.
