Assistant Quantity Surveyor
This is an great opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to gain valuable experience in the residential sector delivering high–quality residential projects.
About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.
The responsibilities of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Assist with tenders and procurement processes.
- Provide general administrative support to the site commercial team.
- Assist in the management of project risks and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing costs estimates and financial reports.
- Liaise with Cost Planning, Buying and Technical to ensure accurate budget preparation.
Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying desirable
- Experience at a similar level working on housing developments
- Knowledge of cost control systems and valuation reporting
- Experience of managing Housing Association contracts
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
