The business seek a developing a professional who has dedicated career path focus with the aspiration to develop to full procurement category manager / specialist level which they will fully support and fast track with promotion opportunity The role will be assigned to the engineering spend category management team which manage large scale and multi million £ annual spend and will be given full training and support from senior category managers to develop a key role in the full procurement process (commercial cost and contractual negotiation, performance management, SRM, new supplier sourcing & engagement, category strategy development) and expertise in across the varying categories. This senior buyer / assistant category manager role will require a dynamic and commercially astute professional and will provide a fast track development plan for this role to progress to full procurement category manager level offering a fantastic long term career development opportunity.
