Administrator (Dog Health and Insurance) This is a great opportunity to work as a Dog Health and Insurance administrator for a national charity. Our client is an assistance dog charity which transforms the lives of disabled people through partnership with their specially trained assistance dogs. They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join their Operations Department based at their Southern Training Centre in Heyshott, West Sussex. Position: Administrator (Dog Health and Insurance) Location: Midhurst, West Sussex. Job type: 12 month fixed term contract Hours: Full time Salary: £14,798 to £18,498 dependent on experience Closing date for applications: 9am Wednesday 26th October 2016 1st Interview Date: 9th November 2016 (Heyshott) 2nd Interview Date: TBC About the role: The Administrator will be the main point of contact with veterinary practices, ensuring they have current knowledge of our client's protocols and requirements. You will also be the main point of contact with the insurers, dealing with all insurance claims to minimise the Charity's expenditure. You will provide administrative support to the Operations, mostly Partnership Department, to support the smooth and efficient running of the office and team. You as post holder will be responsible for checking all invoices from veterinary practices are accurate, and assist their partners with insurance enquiries. Keeping accurate written health records for their dogs and ordering all veterinary care products is an essential part of this role. You will also coordinate the information required for sending out vet packs following dogs completing their training courses. About you: You will have experience in an administrative role with exceptional IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook as well as excellent organisational skills. You will be confident communicating with volunteers, staff, their partners, and visitors. You must be self-organised and customer focussed with great attention to detail and have the ability to work methodically and accurately under pressure. You should be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Possessing a proven track record of using office management systems and procedures is important, as is the ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
