We are seeking a proactive, fun, energetic and talented Sales Event Coordinator who is keen to join the passionate Sodexo team at an exciting and iconic Brighton venue, the Amex Stadium. You will be responsible for actively assisting the Sales Manager in optimising sales of all non-match day conference and events for the stadium, encouraging repeat business through effective database, account and event management.

This role involves handling all enquiries that come into the team, ensuring an informative, professional approach at all time, you will respond to calls, emails and meet customers face to face whilst giving people tours of the ground and function rooms. You will be responsible to securing business, promoting additional packages and ensuring the customer receives an exceptional level of service. You will be involved in quotes, proposals and pricing and completing all relevant administration relating to each booking. As part of your role you will host client events, conduct familiarisation trips, represent the venue at networking events and actively promote the Amex Stadium brand in conjunction with the marketing team.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Have a passion for the events industry; be able to demonstrate this through previous work experience or study.
  • Enjoy being accountable for business development and securing opportunities.
  • Customer focused and confident to promote the venue to a range of clients.
  • Professional with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Available to work outside normal business or contracted hours as deemed necessary by the company
