Trainee Psychological Therapists (CBT)

We are looking for 8 trainee CBT psychological therapists, to work in one of the step 3 teams. The successful applicants will have a core profession (nursing, social work, etc.) or be able to demonstrate the equivalent knowledge and experience (via a completed KSA, see BABCP website for details, which should be produced at interview). You will also be expected to have a degree at a 2:1 or be able to submit an academic portfolio which shows your ability to be able to write at the required academic standard.
The training course is for 16 months which includes 2 to 3 days per week at University on average and 2 to 3 days of clinical practice. The course starts on the 30th April 2018 but you will be expected to be registered on the course by the third week of March 2018 with an induction day in late March. We have 8 fixed term training posts available in a variety of locations across West Sussex including Worthing, Chichester, Crawley, and Horsham (please specify your preferred location on your application form).
You will receive excellent support in this role, including skills development and regular supervision. You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team. Successful candidates need to be able to start on 23rd April 2018. Any KSA candidates will need to have a completed KSA ready for the interview.
The post holder needs to be a car driver and willing to travel to different sites as required in West Sussex. There will be some evening work required.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend individual interviews at Worthing.
