We require a senior, experienced book-keeper either as an employee of the company or a freelancer working under contract. You must have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts software
  • Good knowledge of VAT processes
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good written & verbal communication skills
  • Good inter-personal skills
  • Happy to work as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure sometimes (not often!)

You will be expected to:

  • maintain accounts for four separate companies
  • be responsible for invoicing our clients [including some payments by Direct Debit] and credit control
  • pay supplier invoices
  • be responsible for payroll (8 employees) and NEST pension payments
  • produce VAT returns
  • deal with account queries from customers
  • contribute towards basic monthly reports for our clients
