Home Administrator - Clemsfold House, Horsham.

To assist the Registered Home Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the home on an administrative basis.

Duties:

  • Answering and responding to telephone calls appropriately.
  • Greeting visitors and organising refreshments.
  • Typing of correspondence.
  • Printing of forms and other paperwork required by staff.
  • Produce posters, menus, social calendars and other documents as required.
  • Completion of forms on behalf of service users as authorised by the Registered Home Manager.
  • Liaise with service providers, Doctors, Area Managers, Social Workers etc.
  • Attend 2 mandatory manual handling and fire-safety training sessions per year.

Payroll:

  • Inputting hours into MS Excel.
  • Maintaining annual leave records.
  • Liaising with Alpha Care Staff.
  • Maintenance of daily signing-in sheets.
  • Responding to and actioning pay roll queries.

Human Resources:

  • Respond to enquiries from potential new staff.
  • Ensure new staff receive and complete all forms related to their new employment.
  • Arrange for new staff to attend an induction course.
  • Maintain personnel records on all staff in line with the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) requirements.
  • Maintaining annual leave records.
  • Maintenance of daily signing-in sheets.
  • Record all staff training.
  • Assist Registered Home Manager in completing weekly reports.

Ordering:

  • Place orders as authorised by the Registered Home Manager
  • Maintain up-to-date record of orders sent and invoices received

Marketing:

  • Maintain supply of brochures for the home and send out as required.
  • Respond appropriately and record enquiries for potential service users.
  • Participate in the active marketing of the home.
