Rohan Solicitors is looking to recruit a commercial solicitor to ideally start in July 2018, initially to provide maternity cover, but with a possibility of this becoming a permanent position in line with projected departmental growth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and dynamic team of professionals in a unique West Sussex legal practice.
Ideally you will have several years PQE (or equivalent) with a demonstrable track record of running a mixed commercial caseload. You will have experience in the areas of company commercial law, employment law and or commercial property law.
This role will suit someone who is looking to progress their career and will give you the opportunity to develop very strong client relationships, not only with clients from across the local region but also from further afield, in line with our existing client base. You will have ambition, energy and enthusiasm in abundance to continue to develop and grow yourself as well as the department.
The role reports directly to the Senior Partner, with the successful candidate having responsibility for managing their own caseload working under their own initiative but also as part of our existing team. You will have:
- a proven track record of attention to detail,
- a strong commercial approach
- excellent IT skills
- general business knowledge and experience
- a proactive approach towards business development
- the ability to deliver a high standard of client care
- be capable of prioritising and working well under pressure
