Temporary Production Coordinator
Monday to Saturday 06.00 - 14.45
To assist the Production Team in maintaining a program of quality by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, legal and meet or exceed customer expectations. You will support production in regard to understanding, implementing and maintaining good manufacturing practices in the factory in accordance with the company procedures and BRC standards.
Knowledge of working practices within a food environment
Level 2 Food Safety
HACCP Awareness / HACCP Level 2
Experience in a food manufacturing environment (Desirable)
Working knowledge of BRC. (Desirable)
Well organised with good planning and time management skills.
Good communication skills. (Written and spoken English)
Effectively complete all administrative tasks and record
Pallet registration (Traceability purpose)
Manage any quality issues arising within the pack house ensuring they are clearly communicated to all relevant departments and any major issues are escalated appropriately.
To aid in Traceability as required
To assist with the packing of the orders
Report near misses and hazard observations
To report any faults or deficiencies in working equipment
To put any product on hold if it does not adhere to customer specifications
Reject pallets of product if quality standards are not met
