We have a vacancy for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our integrated multidisciplinary team in the Responsive Services Team based in Crawley Hospital.

This post would suit an enthusiastic and innovative person, who is prepared to meet the changing needs of the population we serve, and provide high quality, flexible care where it is needed.

The team works in the community aiming to prevent hospital admissions and keeping people in their own homes; working alongside the acute services and local hospitals to ensure a smooth transition of patients across all services.

We have several work streams including Admission Avoidance, Supportive Discharge, Discharge to Assess, Stroke Early Supportive Discharge, Community Therapy  Rehab.

You will use a range of skills for a variety of patients including those with Stroke, Cardiac, Respiratory, MSK, Frail & Elderly, Dementia diagnosis amongst others.

There is the opportunity to supervise a B5, and Rehab Staff.

There is supervision from the Physio Clinical Lead, and training opportunities both locally and within the Trust, with all staff encouraged to be current and proactive with CPD.

Responsive Services are operational between 8am-8pm, and there are shift patterns covering these hours. It is a 7 days a week service.

Car owner/driver, essential.

Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
